Another Reason to Move to Las Vegas


Besides a national football team, amazing entertainment and nightlife, world class dining and great rugged out doors, Las Vegas is also known for so much more! You may have heard of the term #VegasStrong. Other than #SinCity, Las Vegas is also known for being a tight knit community who comes together in times of need. This gives you another reason to want to relocate and move to Las Vegas.

All of us remember where we were and what we were doing when we heard about the Route 91 Harvest Shooting in 2017. All of us remember the heartache it caused so many and others have been directly affected by it. A few of us remember the unity it brought to a shattered city, shattered by tragedy and grief. Instead of letting this single event tear the city apart, the Las Vegas grew closer.

For example, when the red cross asked for blood donations, so many people volunteered to donate blood that they had to ask for the donations to stop (source: https://www.newsweek.com/people-are-giving-too-much-blood-after-las-vegas-shooting-678190). People also risked their lives to save others who were injured to get them to safety. Taxi drivers and others rushed to get those injured and dying to the hospital. With tragedy there comes healing. Two hospitals said they would not charge victims of the shooting and a fund was created for those who did receive a bill. With these acts of kindness, #VegasStrong was born.

So yes, Las Vegas is known for it's entertainment, dining, gambling and debauchery. It is also known as a city that came together in a time of need. It's a wonderful place to live and has many opportunities for all walks of life.
